Its been reported that The Queen has banned all non-married partners this year for Royal Christmas celebrations at Sandringham. Because of The Queen decision Chelsy Davy, Kate Middleton and Zara Philips boyfriend Mike Tindall are not part of royal christmas celebrations.
Princes William and Harry will both be at the gathering on the Royal estate in Norfolk without their girlfriends, which begins with a huge party on Christmas Eve.
Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton is said to be “sad and disappointed” at the Queen’s decision. She has joined in the Royal Family’s festive fun three times in the past four years. Its been reported that Kate Middleton had even taken lessons in gun-handling so she could join in the pheasant shooting.
But she is said to have accepted the ban after it was explained that it applies to all non-spouses. Her Majesty made it known that she wishes to enjoy Christmas with only her most immediate relatives. However, Kate is due to meet up with William when Christmas is over.
A Royal insider confirmed: “Outsiders, even those as close as Kate and Chelsy are to the two Princes, haven’t had an invite this year. That’s the way it is. Kate just has to lump it. That’s the way the Queen likes it, just close family. It gives them a chance to catch up with each other. It’s one of the very few times in the year when they can all get together. The only person who issues invitations is HM - and she has chosen not to do so.”
Kate is now expected to spend Christmas and Boxing Day with her parents and other members of her family at Chapel Row in Berkshire.
