According to a news poll taken by ITV News shows that 58% Australians wants to see Prince William as their next king compare to Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.
Prince William, 27-year-old, second-in-line to throne who was visiting Australia and New Zealand inspired a lot of Australians and New Zealanders.
ITV news poll found that 58% of the 1,203 people quizzed wanted to see the William as their next monarch as compared to 30% in favour of Charles.
William was also said to have worked his charm on the women Down Under with 63% saying they would like to see him succeed the Queen, reports the Daily Express.
As many as 45% said the Queen should remain Australia’s head of state while 43% in opposition.
